IN SHORT
Magnetic Fuel
conditioners operate on the principle of Induction. It makes
no difference if the magnetic field is created by one magnet or by
three. For maximum effectiveness the critical design elements are:
-
strength of the magnetic field, or flux density and Oerstad rating.

angle
of the intersect between the fuel and the lines of force, 90 degrees
is optimal
-
fuel
flow velocity and retention time of the fuel in the magnetic field,
determined by the length of the path way through the magnetic field.
The above mentioned design parameters allow
ALGAE-X
units to have a larger flow capacity, to be more
compact and durable, more efficient, require no maintenance and
therefore a better value
for your money. The direct flow through design of
ALGAE-X
prevents the build up of water and sludge inside the units, which in
older designs such as the Bowl Type product have proven to be a
maintenance concern. Lastly, there is no pressure drop over the fuel
line with ALGAE-X
due to the
interior design - the older style units create 2 psi pressure impact
at recommended flow rates.
