Engines1 is a division of Western Branch Diesel, Inc.  Our history goes back to 1963 when a sales department was formed to supply engines and parts to a local Virginia shipyard.  Over the years NMS, as we were known, grew to one of the premier engine and generator suppliers on the east coast.  We have handled gasoline engines such as Thermo Electron (Crusader), Gray Marine, Interceptor, Chrysler Marine, Indmar, Pleasurecraft Marine, Sea Maxx, and currently Indmar/Quest.  In 1980 we added Westerbeke to the line and are a master distributor for Westerbeke and Universal.  In March of 1999 an agreement was signed by Western Branch Diesel, Inc. to purchase NMS.  After the move Engines1 was formed and we have not looked back.  Backed by a strong company with great values, Engines1 has prospered and grown into one of the country's premier engine and generator suppliers.  With prime products such as Westerbeke, Energy1, Glendinning, Algae-X Fuel Conditioning and Polishing equipment, Barr Marine, Quest, Victron Energy, and Webasto you can rest easy that the equipment you purchase from Engines1 is top quality and able to stand up to the job at hand.
