"D-Net" diesel generators.
Using Westerbeke's D-Net diesel generators factory fitted with NMEA 2000 components you can achieve far more efficient boat wiring, since all NMEA 2000 certified components can "plug into" a single cable.  The cable not only supplies their power but integrates all onboard data communication.  By providing the backbone for a NMEA 2000 network you can link a full array of certified controls, instruments, navigation systems, and displays all on a single cable.

The engine powering this system is a rugged Tier-2 diesel.  This is direct coupled to a 4 pole marine grade electrical end.  Covering the entire unit is a unique paint process that has passed the 500 hour salt spray test.  A newly designed air intake further reduces noise levels.  The electronic governing system virtually eliminates droop when electrical loads are applied.  This means that you will get the best the industry has to offer.

The digital control system is standard on all D-Net generators.  The digital display provides at a glance operating information and diagnostics.  The display shows actual numbers in an easy to read format.
